Methodology & About

How we analyze stocks — transparently, rigorously, and with clear data attribution.

Data Sources

SEC EDGAR

Annual (10-K) and quarterly (10-Q) reports provide the foundation for all financial metrics. Revenue, net income, balance sheet items, and cash flow statements are extracted and normalized for cross-company comparison.

Yahoo Finance

Real-time and historical pricing data, market capitalization, dividend information, and analyst consensus estimates. Data is updated daily.

Finnhub

Alternative data including insider transactions, institutional ownership changes, earnings call transcripts, and social sentiment indicators.

Five-Dimension Scoring Framework

Each stock is scored from 0–100 across five dimensions. Scores are relative to industry peers.

Growth

Measures revenue growth trajectory, earnings per share (EPS) growth, and forward guidance. Higher scores indicate accelerating top-line and bottom-line expansion relative to industry peers.

Value

Evaluates valuation multiples: P/E, P/S, P/B, EV/EBITDA, and dividend yield. Lower multiples relative to fundamentals score higher (undervalued = better value).

Financial Health

Assesses balance sheet strength: debt-to-equity ratio, current ratio, interest coverage, cash reserves, and free cash flow yield. Higher scores indicate lower bankruptcy risk.

Sentiment

Aggregates analyst ratings, insider trading patterns, institutional ownership changes, and earnings call transcript sentiment analysis.

Momentum

Analyzes price trends across multiple timeframes (1-month, 3-month, 6-month, 12-month) and compares relative strength against sector and market benchmarks.
